Eastern Shore Mill Pond Pickerel

I met a friend over at a mill pond in Salisbury on the Eastern Shore at 8:00 on 1/7. Soaking minnows for three/four hours.

My buddy caught 14 pickerel and a largemouth bass. He came over to where I was at one point in the morning. He had just lost a giant pickerel. He said it would fit in his net!! Biggest he had ever seen. Ugh!!!

I caught 14 pickerel too. Big was a 26.5�. Mixed in with various size fish. A few smalls and four or five 21-24�. Double up once too.

I lost four fish and one bite off, I don�t have this info for Dave.
