On Wednesday 3/20 I fished with my friend Dennis on St Mary�s Lake. We fished from 10:00 til 2:00.

We were casting and trolling jerk baits, rattle trap, small jigs and fished minnows under bobbers. The minnows produced the majority of the catches. Dennis was having luck under a slip bobber on a small hook. Five foot depth. I fished minnows on a small white buck tail jig w/o luck. Changing to a plain unpainted jig under a bobber started producing a bite for me.

I was catching crappie in 6�-8� of water, a majority of bass were caught in 4�-6� of water. Pickerel were EVERYWHERE. Twenty or so fish total.

The wind was our biggest issue!!! We pulled off the water after the wind became a steady hard breeze.
