April 1st Fishing

On April 1st I targeted shad on the Patuxent River at Governor Bridge Rd. Catching was slow, but I managed American Shad too.

I then headed over to Wooton�s Landing, but I wasn�t able to fish there for perch. There were 35 other cars/trucks and no shoreline to cast from.

So, I headed to the pond at Indian Creek NRMA. Catching crappie and bluegill on a small jig under a bobber.

It was miserable out, damp and cold.
