Trophy Carp

Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Pocomoke River

Today, 4/14, I caught a 32" carp in the Pocomoke River. We had 4 rods out with corn for carp and I had my 5' ultra light with a float and worm a foot deep trying to catch a bluegill to cut up for catfish bait. I tossed my float 2' from shore under a bush and my float instantly took off along with my drag. 10 mins and around 3 trees later my son netted it. It weighed 14lbs and we released it as fast as we could and she swam away looking good.

Bud received a FishMaryland certificate for this catch. Congratulations!
