White Perch

I fished a tidal pond/lake on April 18, in Calvert County. Targeting largemouth bass, crappie and a possibly snakehead.

I couldn�t find any of the above, but I did see a snakehead sunning, tailing, and with its dorsal fin above the waterline in very thin water. But I couldn�t get her to eat.

What I did find was an amazing bite of white perch. They were spread across the lake. I was catching them on small white and a chartreuse spinner baits.

In the end I caught 64. Keeping a few for dinner.
