Potomac River Smallmouth Bass

I fished with my friend Billy Londeree up at Violettes Lock area on the Potomac River on 5/3.

Billy out fished me, catching 9 smallmouth bass. Most in the 10-12� range. A few bigger. I caught 6 smallmouth bass and a sunfish. My biggest was a 19� fish.They were eating crayfish pattern crankbaits, Ned Rig with a 2.5� Yum brand, crawbug crawdad, and small paddle tails.

All around it was a great afternoon.
