Cunningham Falls Creek Brown Trout

On Memorial Day weekend I left southern Maryland to try my luck on the “lake” at Cunningham Falls State Park. After catching a couple of small largemouth bass I packed up and started on the ride home. But, I always like to stop and try a few casts in the creek. This time it didn’t disappoint. My first cast of a green and black Trout Magnet was hit by this beautiful brown trout. After a quick release, I walked down stream and tried another pool and was able to catch a second. Both seemed healthy and swam away easily.
