Snakes on the Dundee III

On June 8 the Department of Natural Resources and The US Fish and Wildlife Service held a fishing derby at the Gunpowder State Park. This was the Third edition of this event "Snakes on the Dundee".

Derby Winners: Maryland DNR gave away 15 tackle boxes for door prizes. Four Northern Snakehead were caught by adult participants. Maryland FWCO provided prizes to all who presented a fish.

The adult winners were as follows:

• 1st: Darrin Dale (12.7 lbs.)
• 2nd: Mike Petrosky (5.6 lbs)
• 3rd: Roy Boyd Jr (4.1 lbs, 24�)
• Brenton Hamlett - (4.1 lbs, 23.5�)

In the child division:

• Colby Smith (10 years old) presented a bag of Snakehead fry (20-30 fry) and won the first-place prize.
