Drumming on St Mary’s River

<p>I headed out to St Mary’s River on Saturday the 25th, chasing after slot red drum. I hadn’t high hopes, two friends fished there yesterday and caught a total of three or four dink drum, a bluefish and a dink trout. </p> <p> I fished maybe four hours, casting light jigs with four inch pink tails, white tails and chartreuse tails.</p> <p> Catching four red drum, big was 24.5”, two striped bass and a flounder. Weather was very nice, fish started to eat better when the the wind picked up and broke the glass like sheen of the water.</p>
