Madness on the Marshyhope Kids Fishing Derby

Madison Huntsberger (3 years old) had a great time fishing with her mom Emily Huntsberger and Emily's boyfriend Austin Krisher of Channa Chasin Outdoors on November 2, 2024 at the Madness on the Marshyhope Kid's Fishing Derby at Federalsburg Marina. Emily got lots of bites fishing small pieces of worm on a top-bottom rig with small hooks (about #6 sized). She caught at least two fish while I was there talking to her family, including a yellow perch and sunfish. The weather was perfect for November, with sunny skies and mild temperatures.
