Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (CCNPP)

I fished the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant 11/19 with friends Dennis Fleming and Cal Weirich. We left the ramp at Solomons at 12:30pm returning after dark at 5:30pm.

We caught over 40 striped bass, most were in the faster water up near the discharge pipe.

The average size was a 20-23 inch fish. The biggest fish was caught by Dennis, at 31�, we caught two under slot fish and two puppy drum as well on 1oz jigs with five inch plastics. Dennis upsized his bait to a 1.5oz jig w/7� plastic, without any luck. He didn�t start catching again until he switched back to the smaller jig.
