Pickerel Fishing

On February 9th I spent a few hours in the wind casting on Chain Pickerel on Stoney Creek, out of Green Haven Wharf. Catching seven fish, biggest fish was 25.50� and I caught three fish over 24� and three fish over 23�.

Catching on 3� Rapala CrushCity �The Mayor� electric shad on a 1/4oz VMC jig, and a Rapala jerk bait. Fish were off the shore in 6-8� of water. One of the pickerel spit up a silverside, so I matched as closely to what they were eating.
