Pickerel Fishing

<P>On February 9th I spent a few hours in the wind casting on Chain Pickerel on Stoney Creek, out of Green Haven Wharf. Catching seven fish, biggest fish was 25.50” and I caught three fish over 24” and three fish over 23”.</p> <p> Catching on 3” Rapala CrushCity “The Mayor” electric shad on a 1/4oz VMC jig, and a Rapala jerk bait. Fish were off the shore in 6-8’ of water. One of the pickerel spit up a silverside, so I matched as closely to what they were eating.</p>
