Allens Fresh Blue Catfish

<p>I hadn’t intended to catch or fish for blue catfish on 2/15. I set out to cast on yellow perch on Allens Fresh. I had no minnows, but thought I may get a few to bite on small jigs. Then I accidentally snagged a blue catfish on my ultralight set up. Ugh. I then ran across the school of fish. There were so many you could seen them moving on the surface here and there.</p> <p> They were sitting in the large pool out at the Ciders. The school of fish filled the screen on my side scan, 80’ across at times. I ended up catching 18-20 or so before I left. They either ate the bait or accidentally getting snagged because they were so thick. I caught two white catfish also.</p>
