Allens Fresh Blue Catfish

I hadn�t intended to catch or fish for blue catfish on 2/15. I set out to cast on yellow perch on Allens Fresh. I had no minnows, but thought I may get a few to bite on small jigs. Then I accidentally snagged a blue catfish on my ultralight set up. Ugh. I then ran across the school of fish. There were so many you could seen them moving on the surface here and there.

They were sitting in the large pool out at the Ciders. The school of fish filled the screen on my side scan, 80� across at times. I ended up catching 18-20 or so before I left. They either ate the bait or accidentally getting snagged because they were so thick. I caught two white catfish also.
