Chain Pickerel from Loch Raven

For many years in the past I could almost always count on catching at least one pickerel per session from the shoreline on any number of accessible trails around Loch Raven Reservoir. But that hasn't been the case for the last few years. I have had over 50 sessions at Loch Raven since my last pickerel catch in November of 2021. So, after 3 years & 3 months, I was absolutely thrilled to hit this 17 inch pickerel on my second cast around 7:05 p.m. Monday, March 9th. ( BTW, I followed DNR's advice of removing the treble hooks from my lure, and he was released unharmed.)
