Southern Maryland Speckled Trout

I got on the water at five in the morning on 7/20. I targeted trout, and hoped for some red drum too. Came up short on the drum. Striped bass were harassing me as well, hard not to tangle with them when targeting other bay fish. So I just kept moving around. But to no avail. I pulled the plug at 8:00am. Today’s catch count 5 speckled trout, 2 croaker, and the bycatch fish. Rock were up to 27” or so, just a guess. I released them while they were still in the water. Water temp was 84, fish caught in 4.5’-8’ of water.
