Some Striped Bass Fishing

On 10/26 I took a few casts off the community pier here on Solomons (Mill Creek). Catching a striped bass and a flounder on a crankbait and a Gulp jerk shad respectfully.

I spoke to a friend who fished the Patuxent River 10/25. He caught 50 striped bass.

Today, I fished the bridge pilings on the pax (TJ Bridge). Catching 10 striped bass. Slow pitch jigging and fished a jerk shad on 3/4 & 1oz jigs. I spoke to an angler out on the water. He was catching striped bass too. He told me that he caught a 54� black drum there yesterday. Took him 30 mins to land the fish!

Another friend was fishing up at Myrtle Point, catching striped bass. Yet, another friend fished the Patapsco (up at the Hanover Bridge) catching 20 striped bass too. Most off of the bridge.
