Me and a couple of buddies went to do some fishing down Ocean City for the 4th of July weekend and came back a couple of happy campers. On July 2nd and 3rd we had some great fishing, The weather was perfect, it was about 75 - 80 degrees and slightly windy. We left for the 50 bridge around 9:30 and got to our favorite spot on the city bound side around 10:00. We got there and the conditions were ripe, the tide was coming in and the water clarity was great. There were fish everywhere you looked under the dim lights of the bridge. We hastily set up and started to fish, I was using Zoom bubblegum super flukes with neon half ounce jig heads. My other friends were using cut squid, which after a few hours they quickly changed over to what I was using because I was the only one catching anything. We fished for about four hours and in that time period I caught a 18 1/2 inch Stripper, a 13 inch Flounder, and my one friend caught an unruly stingray !!! All of which were released unharmed. In all it was a great weekend and a great way to spend the 4th !!!
