Winter Stripers

I took a few casts on striped bass starting on Dec 17th then spent a day here and there over the past three weeks fishing for them, catching and releasing a few fish along the way. I was catching fish outside the mouth of the Patuxent River along the Eastern Shore side of the channel and a few slot size fish and bigs up at the Calvert County Nuclear Power Plant (CCNPP). All fish were caught on a 1.5oz G-eye Jig, dressed with a 10� chartreuse BKD. And I caught a couple off my kayak too. Fun times!
