The Sea was Angry, That Day, My Friend!!!
Intrepid Angler Tommy, Beefstick Kovacs, of the West Windsor Kovacs', hooked a 38.5 rock while trolling South of the Bay Bridge on Sunday. Fishing from the Lead Dog out of Kentmoor Marina, the crew left at sunrise on the second day of trophy season. Winds out of the SW made for some rough water, and air temps dipped below 45 degrees. He was trolling with large bucktails when the giant fish struck the tackle. With the help of the Captain and first mate C. Tennille, Tommy expertly landed this beautiful striper. After landing his first trophy rockfish, Tommy was quoted as saying This was the best baby shower ever!
