Family Fun at a Farm Pond

My father and I went fishing on Sunday April 18th on a farm pond located near Myersville, MD. It was a chilly 50 degrees outside but the largemouth were biting consistently. We were landing one about every 15 minutes. Most were in the 1.5 lb. range but I caught this nice 5lb. 2oz. largemouth on a black spinnerbait. We also took my little sister and she caught a bluegill, her first fish. We had a blast and I'm sure we'll be back real soon. We proudly practice catch and release.
