Land Locked Striped Bass

I had a really good feeling about piney run saturday morning so i dropped the boat. Only fished for about an hour, caught a bluegill and crappie with the fiance, and decided to head in when the rain slowly began. Tossed a deep diver out to troll back to the dock, almost dead center of the lake saw my rod bounce, bounce, buuzzzzzzzzzzzzz....... Uuhhhhh thats not another snag. Next thing i know im fighting the fish ive been dreaming about....finally a good sized landlocked striper...28-3/4" 7.7lbs. Great times on light tackle.
