Hello, Allen here for a another report. Went to the upper Potomac in the wake of irene to my favorite fall of the year smallmouth hole. This time of the year i find them in the deeper holes near shallow flats. At mid day when I arrived to my hole i fond it muddy from the wind, but towards the end of the day the winds died down and the water visibility was 8-10 ft. 16 fish total all fish came on a wacky rigid 4in senko. All fish were released. With some good management and catch and release the upper Potomac can and will be a trophy class small mouth fishery.
