| Patapsco Valley State Park 5/18/2017 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Location: 1101 Hilton Avenue City: Catonsville County: Baltimore Description: Join us every Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Nature Center to hear a nature-themed story read by one of our naturalists! This program is geared toward children 10 years and younger, but all ages are welcome! Cost: No Cost Directions: From the Beltway (I-695): Take Frederick Rd. (Exit 13) through Catonsville to South Rolling Rd. Turn left and continue straight onto Hilton Ave. Follow Hilton Ave. 1.5 miles to the park entrance on right. From Howard County: Follow Frederick Rd. through Ellicott City into Baltimore County, turn right at South Rolling Rd. and follow directions above. Afterwards, we will discuss ways that we can help keep our favorite animals alive for future generations! Fun for ages 6 and up! Rain or shine! Meet at the Park Office: Join Ranger Erik for a 2 mile moderate hike to the historic Waring Viaduct Railroad Bridge. Learn the role of the railroad in Montgomery County and how it still carries people today. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
