| Gunpowder Falls State Park 5/31/2017 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: Paper Mill Parking Lot - 1235 Paper Mill Road, Hunt Valley, MD City: Hunt Valley County: Baltimore Description: Bike Through History is conducted by volunteer members of the NCR/Hereford Volunteers Association. The Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail - formerly the Northern Central Railroad Trail - is located in northern Baltimore County and extends for nearly 20 miles from Ashland to the Pennsylvania state line. Join our knowledgeable guide to learn about this history of the railroad. Rides begin at 6:30 P.M. and return about two hours later. Bring your bicycle, helmet, light and water. Events are free with no pre-registration. All rides are shine only. Locations for rides vary by week: May 31 - PAPER MILL. June 7 - BENTLEY SPRINGS. June 14 - MONKTON. June 21 - WHITE HALL. Join Park Staff for a 2.5 mile round trip guided hike. Find evidence of beaver activity near the trail and check out several different beaver lodges! Bring water and a camera for some great photo opportunities. Remember to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bug spray.
