| Fort Frederick State Park 5/29/2017 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location: 11100 Fort Frederick Road City: Big Pool County: Washington Description: Bring your family and friends to explore the natural side of Fort Frederick State Park. This annual event features self-guided and staff-led outdoor nature and recreation activities for all interest levels and ages. Bring your bike, binoculars, kayak/canoe, and camera! Activities run from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Saturday night will feature a special stargazing astronomy program starting at dark. Contact the Park for details. Cost: Park entrance fees apply. Directions: From the west: Take I-70 E to exit 12(Big Pool), turn right on MD-56 and go down 1 mile to the park on your right.
