Some of the Board's activities include the following. It provides tree seedlings and large trees to schools and other organizations for Arbor Day and Earth Day, educates woodland owners, supports and assists with the County Envirothon, supports the Smokey Bear programs in schools and volunteer fire companies,staffs the Board display at various events, and assists with Maryland Big Tree measurements. Learn how scientists search for clues and conduct wildlife research! Take home a new nature notebook to record your observations. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.Shine only! At first intersection, bear right in Hilton Avenue. Continue 1.5 miles and turn right into park. From I-95, take exit 47 (keep left on exit ramp), heading north (Route 166) to South Rolling Road.
